ESG review of the top 40 ASX mining companies in FY22

The fourth edition of the Futureproof ESG & Sustainability Reporting Review of top 40 ASX-listed mining companies reveals the increasing maturity of sustainability reporting among Australia’s leading miners.

This year’s report takes into account 16 assessment indicators based on common sustainability reporting practices, climate change action, and ESG rating agency scoring. The assessment group is made up of the largest mining companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

In this report, our fourth tracking key ESG trends of top Australian miners, we see overlaps and interactions that will have a direct influence on company trajectories and prospects for meaningful progress on ESG issues in FY23.
