The Objective
OD6 Metals (OD6) is an Australian based ASX Listed rare earth element exploration company who are at their beginning of sustainability journey. OD6 is navigating the complex landscape of sustainability issues, managing risks, and enhancing their reputation and competitiveness in the market.
Futureproof worked with OD6 to develop a strategic roadmap which serves as a guide for OD6 to develop and implement ESG-related actions throughout the various stages of its development. The regulatory landscape for sustainability is complex, subject to change and so it is important to keep abreast of the latest regulatory trends and update the roadmap as necessary.
The Work
In the development of the roadmap, we drew on internationally recognised standards and frameworks including GRI Standards, TCFD and the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance Standard for Responsible Mineral Exploration and Development (IRMA-Ready Standard).
The Result
Futureproof produced a strategic roadmap with recommended and prioritised actions that OD6 could implement across different phases of its project development: exploration, project development and operational stages.
